Some journeys begin with what is most visible.
This section brings together the Basque Country’s most familiar routes and experiences—those that naturally draw first-time visitors and have long defined the region’s public image.
I approach them as a point of entry, not as an end in themselves. Always in small groups, always with care, and always guided with the same attention to context, rhythm and local knowledge.
Beyond these first encounters lies another Basque Country—more rural, quieter, and deeply rooted—where the territory reveals its true character. That is where my work naturally continues.
