Timings & Punctuality

All stated start times are departure times.

Punctuality is essential for the smooth running of each experience. Tour schedules are carefully designed, taking into account travel times, reservations, and access windows. Late arrivals may result in the partial or total loss of scheduled activities, without entitlement to a refund.

PAYMENT

A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 50% deposit of the total tour price. Payment is made via secure payment link, unless a bank transfer has been previously agreed by email.

The remaining balance is due prior to the tour date, using the same payment method.

For bookings made within two weeks of the tour date, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to: mikel@pickab.tours. Cancellations by phone will not be accepted.

  • Experiences generally operate rain or shine. Weather conditions do not constitute valid grounds for cancellation, except for tours where hiking is a core component. In such cases, suitable alternatives will be offered whenever possible.

  • In exceptional operational circumstances, pickaB Tours reserves the right to substitute the guide with a trusted professional of comparable experience and profile.

  • pickaB Tours is not responsible for disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to flight delays, transport issues, or unscheduled closures of sites. Adequate travel insurance is strongly recommended.

  • Given the dynamic and location-based nature of many experiences, clients are strongly encouraged to travel with suitable personal travel insurance covering medical assistance, cancellations, and unforeseen travel-related circumstances.

  • Exceptional cases of force majeure may be reviewed individually. Supporting documentation may be requested.

REFUND POLICY

Cancellation fees will be applied per booking, based on the date we receive your written notification. Unless otherwise noted for specific departures, cancellation fees are based on the following schedule:

A no-show is defined as failure to appear within 15 minutes of the scheduled departure time without reasonable prior communication. No refund will be issued.

For experiences involving scheduled meeting points or coordinated departures, clients must notify delays or cancellations as soon as possible. Failure to do so may result in a no-show classification.

If multiple services are booked, cancellations apply only to the affected services.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed. Any payment processing or transaction fees are borne by the client.

No refunds apply once services have been partially or fully delivered.

EXCLUSIONS

Refundable amounts do not include any non-recoverable costs incurred on the client’s behalf, such as entrance fees, reservations, tastings, or other prepaid services explicitly agreed upon prior to booking.

CANCELLATIONS BY pickaB Tours

pickaB Tours reserves the right to refuse, modify, or cancel any booking at its discretion.

In the unlikely event of a cancellation by pickaB Tours, an alternative date will be proposed whenever possible. If no suitable alternative can be agreed, all payments made will be refunded within 10 working days, including any associated transaction costs.

pickaB Tours reserves the right to substitute routes, venues, or services with comparable alternatives when necessary.

A full refund constitutes full and final settlement of any claim against pickaB Tours, its partners, or suppliers.
