Olive Oil & Wine

Shared land, cultivated continuity

Vines and olive trees have grown side by side in Rioja Alavesa for nearly two thousand years, shaping both the landscape and a shared agricultural way of life.

This tour explores that shared history through visits to an olive grove and press, where high-quality oils are produced from native varieties, and to a small winery where wine is crafted with the same respect for balance and restraint.

Tasting both products side by side reveals more than flavor—it reveals rhythm, climate, and a long-standing relationship between people and land. Less about comparison, more about conversation.

This is a pairing rooted in continuity, where agriculture, culture and taste remain inseparable.

Some pairings are written into the land itself.

Olive oil also finds its most fundamental expression alongside salt—where cooking begins before technique. This perspective is explored through the relationship between salt and olive oil.
